Been playing this for a bit, really loving it so far.
But here's what I've noticed:
The gameplay escalates really quickly,
You're rewarded big points for only doing big circles, but only get 1 point for clearing lines, but making a chain reaction gives double for what reacted.
In my arcade monkey brain, i feel like you should get a point for every block cleared, but this works too
I mainly wanted the "reward" for making long lines to just be clearing up alot of pieces. But you're not the first to suggest that idea!
I think an arcade mode would be a nice addition, but I didn't wanna over-saturate the game with too many modes on release. I have plans for another mode, too (a 1 minute rush mode).
Just played one game, the tile generation can definitely use some better algorithm to make sure you can actually close a loop, and also preventing unreachable tiles stuck at the corners and boundaries.
One alternative is to provide a power-up gated behind a cooldown or successful match or spend the score to remove/change a tile.
I'll look into a PC version, it hopefully shouldn't be too difficult as it's just an HTML game. Be sure to follow my itch incase I announce a version for PC!
I have the pieces randomized so that there's more corner-pieces than side-pieces, but big shapes are supposed to be difficult as they reward lots of bonus points.
Clearing pieces with simple shapes/lines moves pieces that're up above downwards, which can help make big shapes or falling combos.

Would love a PC version! (Not in browser)
